Our goal is to have 100% of our customers happy. 
If, within 120 days, you decide that you're not completely satisfied with your order, we will happily collect your order - minus freight charges and refund your account.

Importantly, the goods must be returned in the original packaging and in as-new condition.

WE must be notified with the 120 days. After 120 days we will not accept any returns.

Return and Exchange Policy

Zuhause Furniture will happily assist customers who identify a fault or problem with any of our stock, or if the incorrect product or size has been supplied.

 If there is a fault or problem with any of our products, or if we supply the incorrect size, we are happy to offer returns and exchanges in these cases.

In addition to your guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, we provide a 2-year warranty (subject to fair wear and tear). 

Please contact us on for a return authorization number.

We recommend you retain your receipt, as we may require proof that you purchased the product from us. Our Team Members will be able to advise you whether a refund, exchange, or replace.


The fabric used is covered against manufacturing and material defects for a period of 2 years. The strict testing that the fabric must pass to the standard of international Martindale cycle exceeding 20,000 abrasive test. All fabrics will alter in appearance over time and common traits like some pilling, pile angle alteration and shading due to excessive use are part of the normal cycle in many or most fabric's life and do not represent a breakdown of the fabric's construction.

The frames are solid beech timber based and are covered against manufacturing and material failure for 2 years.
This is conditional that the breakdown is not a result of abnormal or unusual use, or willful damage.

What is Normal Wear and Tear 

Zuhause Furniture does not include the following in its warranty claims outside of Australian law -

  • All usual wear and tear attributed to use , such as seats settling , fabric changing in appearance from regular use or exposure to UV or heating units, damage caused by negligence.

  • Any alteration in appearance to the surface covers from not following the correct maintenance program, that is, the regular removal of dust and dirt by appropriate means and the use of professional cleaners beyond our control.

  • Damage incurred by the use or spillage of chemicals, cleaners or conditioners not approved by Zuhause Furniture.

  • Damage incurred by human or animal fluids, clothing dyes, food, drinks, acids, paints, inks, perspiration, body oils or chemicals found in personal skin care or deodorants - including makeup and cosmetic tanning products, cleaning chemicals , aftermarket conditioners and cleaners unless approved by Zuhause Furniture
  • All common use, wear and tear, abrasions, stretching of covers, reduction of seating height due to regular use.
  • Any damages caused after it leaves the control of Zuhause Furniture staff or delivery contractors.
  • Any alteration,  damage caused by any party outside of Zuhause Furniture or its contractors.
  • Transport other than approved by Zuhause Furniture.
Product Arrived with Missing Parts

In the instance your order arrives with missing parts, please contact us and we will work to resolve this issue as soon as possible


We can only process refunds via the original payment method. In some cases, you may have the option of selecting a store credit.

For return cases, we will process your refund within 10 business days of receiving the items. For all other refunds, it will be processed within 7 business days.
